CNES
This site describes the systems deployed at the CNES Data Center. CNES is the French space agency, and the types of applications running in the data center include amongst others satellite data processing and rocket design applications.
Site characteristics
System Architecture
CNES, the French space agency, hosts the supercomputer HAL with the latest Intel CPU and Nvidia GPU nodes. The Galois building was inaugurated in 1994.
HPC Support Team
The HPC Support team consists of employees from CNES, CS Group, Axians and Thales.
