The GLOBAL storage system was procured with the VSC-3 in 2014 consisting of 384 x Toshiba MG03SCA200 2 TB disks. 48 Disks, 2 OSTs per Server. 1 Metadata Target per server.

Performance of the system has been measured with [[tools:benchmarks:ior:start|IOR]] running on 50 storage nodes with 2 processes / node.

The used BeeGFS configuration was:
